Bonjour! Hoi! 😀🙋♀️ My name’s Regine and I’m originally from Cameroon. 👸 I grew up in France and attended an elite modeling school there. 💅 20 years ago I came to Switzerland with my now ex-husband in the hopes of establishing a successful career as a model. Back then, the fashion world in Zurich was not as “IN” as it is today. 😕 Unfortunately, my career also suffered from racism, because almost no one wanted to book a dark-skinned woman. 😔✊🏾
As an alternative, we opened a small store on Langstrasse. From jewelry to dresses you could find all things pretty! 💍 ✨ Business went well and I donated all the profits to asylum shelters. 👼 After my divorce, unfortunately, we had to close our business. That was a very difficult and complicated time for me and my two children. 😟 Luckily I found Hiltl. 💚
First I started at the Hiltl Sihlpost, now I work at Haus Hiltl as a barista and barer. I love my work. 😍 Another plus is the food – simply très bien! 🤩 Everything is and tastes just like at home, made with lots of love. 😃💖
