We produce daily with a lot of love and care. Therefore, we consciously purchase our resources and pay attention to fresh and natural products.
A clear variety
Our recipes and specialities are just as varied as our employees from almost 70 nations. Vegetarians, vegans, flexitarians – everyone will find what they are looking for here, especially the connoisseurs.
Our offer is nutritionally supported and free of unnecessary preservatives and additives such as glutamate. Of course, we also do not use genetically modified foods. We consciously use as little granulated sugar as possible.
We cook vegetarian and vegan with passion – since 1898 in our very own kitchen and confectionery on Sihlstrasse in Zurich. With our own recipes, some of which are historical, we pursue a mix of innovation and tradition. Indulgence always comes first!
Served Gastronomy, Self Service, Take Away, Bar or Lounge offer uncomplicated indulgence at any time of day and for any budget: mornings, noon, evenings, always.
Responsible towards nature
We prefer local and regional products and take into account that ripe fruits and vegetables are in season. Up to 75% of our seasonal fresh products come from Switzerland and nearby Europe.
Responsible towards animals
We do not use edible gelatine or cheese with animal rennet. All of our wines are vegan. We veganise a recipe if the vegan version tastes at least as good or better than the vegetarian version.
Responsible towards humans
We look for producers and partners with the same quality standards. For many products we use organic and Demeter quality (e.g. milk, soy drink, coffee, tofu, feta, seitan, free-range eggs, chia seeds, soy sauce). So that everyone can enjoy our food, we transparently list allergens for all of our dishes.
